     Charles FitzRoy Maclean Somerset was born on 19 November 1855.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Henry Somerset and Christina Emma Thompson.¹ He died in 1895, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Georgina Frances Emma Somerset was born in November 1853.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Charles Henry Somerset and Christina Emma Thompson.¹ She died on 17 June 1889 at age 35, unmarried.¹
     She was a nun at All Saints Convent, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Colonel Henry George Edward Somerset was born on 28 December 1829.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Somerset and Frances Sarah Heathcote.¹ He married Harriette Lade Coast, daughter of Major unknown Coast, on 15 October 1853.¹ He died on 5 April 1920 at age 90.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Buffs.¹ He held the office of Military Knight of Windsor.¹

     Harriette Lade Coast was the daughter of Major unknown Coast.¹ She married Colonel Henry George Edward Somerset, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Somerset and Frances Sarah Heathcote, on 15 October 1853.¹ She died on 28 September 1916.¹
     From 15 October 1853, her married name became Somerset.¹

     Major unknown Coast gained the rank of Major in the 52nd Regiment.¹

     Henry Calthorpe Somerset was born on 2 February 1856.¹ He was the son of Colonel Henry George Edward Somerset and Harriette Lade Coast.¹ He married Bertha Clothilde Reilly, daughter of Dr. P. Reilly, in 1880.¹ He died on 3 March 1904 at age 48.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Battalion, Buffs.¹ He was Staff Officer of Cadets at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.¹

     Bertha Clothilde Reilly was the daughter of Dr. P. Reilly.¹ She married Henry Calthorpe Somerset, son of Colonel Henry George Edward Somerset and Harriette Lade Coast, in 1880.¹ She died in 1931.¹
     From 1880, her married name became Somerset.¹

     Dr. P. Reilly lived at Mauritius^G.¹
