Sir Hugh Burnell, 2nd Lord Burnell1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Burnell [E., 1350] on 19 January 1382/83.2 He held the office of Governor of Bridgnorth Castle in 1386.2 On 29 September 1399 he was one of the Lords who received the abdication of King Richard II in the Tower of London.2 He held the office of Governor of Montgomery Castle in November 1401.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) circa 1406.2
On his death, his Barony fell into abeyance.2
