Sir David de Barry1

Sir David de Barry also went by the nick-name of Barrach Mor (or in English, the Great Barry.)1 On 24 September 1234 a weekly market and yearly fair at his manor of Botavant [Buttevant, County Cork] was granted to him.2 In 1235 he enlarged the friary at Ballybeg.2 He lived at OlethanG.1 He lived at Manobier Castle, Pembrokeshire, WalesG.3 He fought in the Battle of Callan in 1261.1
