     Mary Lovell was the daughter of Henry Lovell and Mary Cole.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Samuel Grimston, son of William Grimston, 1st Viscount Grimston and Jean Cooke, on 5 November 1730.1 She married, secondly, William Wildman Barrington-Shute, 2nd Viscount Barrington of Ardglass, son of John Barrington, 1st Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Anne Daines, on 16 September 1740 at Harleston, Northamptonshire, EnglandG, with £5,000 per year.1 She died on 24 September 1764 at Becket House, Shrivenham, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 3 November 1764.1
     From 5 November 1730, her married name became Grimston.1 After her marriage, Mary Lovell was styled as Viscountess Barrington of Ardglass on 16 September 1740. From 16 September 1740, her married name became Barrington-Shute.1 Her last will was dated from 2 November 1761 to 19 May 1764. She received a blessing at Shrivenham, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
