César de Bourbon, Duc de Vendôme1 

César de Bourbon, Duc de Vendôme was born illegitimately on 3 June 1594 at Château de Coucy, Picardie, FranceG.1 He was the son of Henri IV, Roi de France and Gabrielle d‘Estrées, Duchesse de Beaufort.1 He married Françoise de Lorraine-Mercouer, daughter of Philip Emanuel de Lorraine, Duc de Lorraine-Mercouer and Marie de Luxembourg-Penthièvre, on 7 July 1609.1 He died on 22 October 1665 at age 71 at Paris, FranceG.1
In January 1595 his birth was legitimised.1 He was created Duc de Vendôme in 1598.1
