Hedwig d‘Anjou, Queen of Poland was born in 1371.1 She was the daughter of Louis I d‘Anjou, King of Hungary and Poland and Elisabeth Kontromanich.1 She married Wladislaw II Jagiellon, King of Poland, son of Olgierd, Grand Duke of Lithuania and Juliana of Tver, in 1386.1 She died in 1399.1
She was also known as Jadwiga.3 She gained the title of Queen Hedwig of Poland in 1384.4
