     Maria Sophia Dorothea Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis was born on 4 March 1800 at Regensburg, Germany^G.² She was the daughter of Karl Alexander 5th Fürst von Thurn und Taxis and Therese Mathilde Amalie Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Strelitz.^2,1 She married Friedrich Paul Wilhelm Herzog von Württemberg, son of Eugen Friedrich Heinrich Herzog von Württemberg and Luise Prinzessin zu Stolberg-Gedern, on 17 April 1827 at Regensburg, Germany^G.² She and Friedrich Paul Wilhelm Herzog von Württemberg were divorced on 2 May 1835.¹ She died on 20 December 1870 at age 70 at Regensburg, Germany^G.²
