     He gained the title of Earl of Suffolk.

     Nesta, Princess of Deheubarth was the daughter of Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of South Wales and Gladys of Powys.2,1 She married Gerald fitz Walter, son of Walter fitz Otho and Beatrice de Offley, circa 1100.3 She died before 1136.2
     She was heiress of the lands of Carew, near Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire.3 She was also known as Nest of Wales.4 She gained the title of Princess Nesta of Deheubarth.5

     Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of South Wales is the son of Tewdwr Mawr, King of South Wales.
     Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of South Wales also went by the nick-name of Rhys ap Tewdwr Mawr (or in English, ‘the Great.2‘) He was also known as Rhys ap Gruffydd, Lord Rhys. He gained the title of King Rhys of South Wales.2 He gained the title of Prince Rhys of Deheubarth between 1153 and 1197.3
