     Madeline St. Maur Seymour was born on 11 November 1862 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Seymour and Susanah Biscoe Tritton.¹ She married Francis Abel Smith, son of Henry Abel Smith and Elizabeth Mary Pym, on 11 August 1885 at Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England^G.^4,2 She died on 13 September 1951 at age 88.¹
     From 11 August 1885, her married name became Smith.² She lived in 1911 at 2 Heskett Crescent, Torquay, Devon, England^G.³

     Anne Mary Sibylla Abel Smith was born on 28 July 1932 at Kensington Palace, Kensington, London, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Sir Henry Abel Smith and May Helen Emma Cambridge, Princess of Teck.¹ She married David Ian Liddell-Grainger of Ayton, son of Captain Henry Hubert Liddell-Grainger of Ayton and Lady Muriel Felicia Vere Bertie, on 14 December 1957 at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ She and David Ian Liddell-Grainger of Ayton were divorced in 1981.¹
     From 14 December 1957, her married name became Liddell-Grainger.

     David Ian Liddell-Grainger of Ayton was born on 26 January 1930 at Park Lane, Mayfair, London, England^G.² He was the son of Captain Henry Hubert Liddell-Grainger of Ayton and Lady Muriel Felicia Vere Bertie.¹ He married, firstly, Anne Mary Sibylla Abel Smith, daughter of Colonel Sir Henry Abel Smith and May Helen Emma Cambridge, Princess of Teck, on 14 December 1957 at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He and Anne Mary Sibylla Abel Smith were divorced in 1981.¹ He married, secondly, Christine Schellin, daughter of Kurt Schellin, on 18 October 1996.³ He died on 12 March 2007 at age 77 at Witgensteiner Klinik, Leezen, Schwerin, Germany^G.⁴

     Lady Muriel Felicia Vere Bertie was the daughter of Montagu Peregrine Albemarle Bertie, 12th Earl of Lindsey and Millicent Cox.^2,3 She married, firstly, Captain Henry Hubert Liddell-Grainger of Ayton, son of Henry Liddell-Grainger and Jane Sharp, on 20 January 1922.² She married, secondly, Sir Charles Malcolm Barclay-Harvey, son of James Charles Barclay-Harvey and Ellen Marianne Hills, on 23 March 1938.³ She died in 1981.²
     She was appointed Dame of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.J.St.J.)³ From 20 January 1922, her married name became Liddell-Grainger.² From 23 March 1938, her married name became Barclay-Harvey.³

     Ian Richard Peregrine Liddell-Grainger of Ayton was born on 23 February 1959 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He is the son of David Ian Liddell-Grainger of Ayton and Anne Mary Sibylla Abel Smith.¹ He married Jill Nesbitt, daughter of Ralph Nicol Nesbitt and Isabella Chisholm Anderson, on 31 October 1985 at London, England^G.¹
