Penelope Meredith Eastwood was born on 16 April 1953 at London, EnglandG.1 She is the daughter of Reginald Wray Frank Eastwood and Marian Elizabeth Wood.1 She married Norton Louis Philip Knatchbull, 3rd Earl Mountbatten of Burma, son of John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Baron Brabourne of Brabourne and Patricia Edwina Victoria Mountbatten, Countess Mountbatten of Burma, on 20 October 1979 at Romsey Abbey, Romsey, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
From 20 October 1979, her married name became Knatchbull. After her marriage, Penelope Meredith Eastwood was styled as Baroness Brabourne of Brabourne on 23 September 2005. After her marriage, Penelope Meredith Eastwood was styled as Countess Mountbatten of Burma on 13 June 2017.
