John Singleton Copley, 1st Baron Lyndhurst1 
John Singleton Copley, 1st Baron Lyndhurst was born on 21 May 1772 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.3 He was the son of John Singleton Copley and Susannah Farnum Clarke.3 He married, firstly, Sarah Garay Brunsden, daughter of Charles Brunsden, in March 1819.3 He married, secondly, Georgiana Goldsmith, daughter of Lewis Goldsmith, in August 1837.3 He died on 12 October 1863 at age 91.3
He gained the title of 1st Baron Lyndhurst. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, on 5 July 1796 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth in 1818.3 He was appointed Knight in 1819.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ashburton.3 He held the office of Attorney-General between 1824 and 1826.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridge University between 1826 and 1827.3 He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1827 and 1830.3 He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1834 and 1835.3 He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 1841 and 1846.3

Sir John Gordon of Haddo, 1st Bt.1 
He was next in command of the Royal forces to oppose the Covenanters.2 He fought in the action at Turreff in 1639.2 He was created 1st Baronet Gordon, of Haddo, co. Aberdeen [Scotland] on 13 August 1642.1,2 In October 1643 he protested against the Covenant.2 On 8 May 1644 at Kelly, Devon, EnglandG, his house was beseiged and he was taken prisoner on its surrender.2
