     Richard Strode was born on 22 May 1528.¹ He was the son of William Strode and Elizabeth Courtenay.¹ He married Frances Cromwell, daughter of Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell and Elizabeth Seymour, on 11 November 1560.¹ He died on 5 August 1581 at age 53.¹
     He lived at Newnham, Hampshire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1553.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1559.¹

     Frances Cromwell was the daughter of Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell and Elizabeth Seymour.¹ She married Richard Strode, son of William Strode and Elizabeth Courtenay, on 11 November 1560.¹ She died on 7 February 1562.¹
     From 11 November 1560, her married name became Strode.¹

     Elizabeth Courtenay is the daughter of Philip Courtenay.¹ She married William Strode, son of Richard Strode.¹
     Her married name became Strode.¹

     Katherine Strode was the daughter of Sir Robert Strode.¹ She married Sir Richard Strode, son of Sir William Strode and Mary Southcote, circa 1597.¹ She died circa 1608.¹

     Sir Robert Strode is the son of Sir John Strode and Katherine Cromwell.¹
     He lived at Parnham, Dorset, England.¹

     Elizabeth Earle was the daughter of Thomas Earle.¹ She married Sir Richard Strode, son of Sir William Strode and Mary Southcote, circa 1612.¹ She died in June 1652.¹
     From circa 1612, her married name became Strode.¹
