     Reverend Edward Bayly was born on 26 December 1827.¹ He was the son of Reverend Edward Bayly and Ellen Josephine Miller.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Mosse, daughter of Captain T. Mosse, on 27 September 1854.¹ He died in 1883.¹
     He was a chaplain at Genoa, Italy^G.¹

     Dietrich Markgraf von Meißen und Landsberg was born circa 1242. He was the son of Heinrich Markgraf von Meißen and Constance von Österreich. He married Helene von Brandenburg, daughter of Johann I Markgraf von Brandenburg and Sophia Valdemarsdottir, circa 1268. He died on 8 February 1285.
     Dietrich Markgraf von Meißen und Landsberg also went by the nick-name of Dietrich ‘the Wise’. He gained the title of Markgraf von Meißen. He gained the title of Markgraf von Landsberg.

     Helene von Brandenburg was born circa 1241/42. She was the daughter of Johann I Markgraf von Brandenburg and Sophia Valdemarsdottir. She married Dietrich Markgraf von Meißen und Landsberg, son of Heinrich Markgraf von Meißen and Constance von Österreich, circa 1268. She died on 7 June 1304.

     Mary Elizabeth Mosse was the daughter of Captain T. Mosse.¹ She married Reverend Edward Bayly, son of Reverend Edward Bayly and Ellen Josephine Miller, on 27 September 1854.¹ She died in 1883.¹
     From 27 September 1854, her married name became Bayly.¹

     Edward Bayly was born on 26 July 1855.¹ He was the son of Reverend Edward Bayly and Mary Elizabeth Mosse.¹ He died, unmarried.¹

     Friedrich Markgraf von Meißen was born circa 1269. He was the son of Dietrich Markgraf von Meißen und Landsberg and Helene von Brandenburg. He married Catherine von Bayern, daughter of Heinrich XIII Herzog von Niederbayern and Elisabeth of Hungary, circa 1287. He died on 16 August 1291.
     Friedrich Markgraf von Meißen also went by the nick-name of Friedrich ‘the Stammerer’ von. He gained the title of Markgraf von Meißen.

     Catherine von Bayern was born on 9 June 1267. She was the daughter of Heinrich XIII Herzog von Niederbayern and Elisabeth of Hungary. She married Friedrich Markgraf von Meißen, son of Dietrich Markgraf von Meißen und Landsberg and Helene von Brandenburg, circa 1287. She died after 1303.

     Helen Thomasine Margaret Bayly was the daughter of Reverend Edward Bayly and Mary Elizabeth Mosse.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Skerett Edward George Lawless on 18 April 1912.¹ She died on 24 May 1947.¹
     From 18 April 1912, her married name became Lawless.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Skerett Edward George Lawless married Helen Thomasine Margaret Bayly, daughter of Reverend Edward Bayly and Mary Elizabeth Mosse, on 18 April 1912.¹ He died on 7 March 1936.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.¹
