     Margaret Flavelle was born on 21 December 1855.¹ She was the daughter of John Flavelle and Dorothea Dundas.¹ She married William S. Milner.¹ She died in 1920.¹

     William S. Milner married Margaret Flavelle, daughter of John Flavelle and Dorothea Dundas.¹

     Clara Ellsworth was the daughter of Reverend Oren H. Ellsworth.¹ She married Sir Joseph Wesley Flavelle, 1st Bt., son of John Flavelle and Dorothea Dundas, on 20 September 1882.¹ She died in 1932.¹
     From 20 September 1882, her married name became Flavelle.¹

     Sir Joseph Ellsworth Flavelle, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 May 1892.¹ He was the son of Sir Joseph Wesley Flavelle, 1st Bt. and Clara Ellsworth.¹ He married Muriel I. McEachren, daughter of William Norman McEachren and Isabel F. Jackson, on 23 January 1917.¹ He died on 19 December 1977 at age 85.²
     Sir Joseph Ellsworth Flavelle, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Ellsworth.¹ He was educated at St. Andrew’s College, Aurora, Ontario, Canada.² He was Governor at St. Andrew’s College, Aurora, Ontario, Canada.¹ He was vice-president of the Canadian National Committee for Mental Hygiene.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Flavelle, of Toronto, Canada [U.K., 1917] on 7 March 1939.¹ He wrote the book Photography : a craft and creed, published 1958.²
