     Rose Halle was the daughter of John Halle.¹ She married Major Spencer Byng Astley, son of Sir Francis Dugdale Astley, 2nd Bt. and Emma Dorothea Lethbridge, in 1876.¹ She died on 8 May 1919.¹
     From 1876, her married name became Astley.¹

     Spencer Beauchamp Astley was born on 21 October 1880.¹ He was the son of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle.¹ He married Margaret Louisa Colquhoun, daughter of Lt.-Col. J. A. S. Colquhoun, on 15 May 1907.¹ He died in December 1911 at age 31 at Uganda.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Reserve.¹

     Margaret Louisa Colquhoun was the daughter of Lt.-Col. J. A. S. Colquhoun.¹ She married Spencer Beauchamp Astley, son of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle, on 15 May 1907.¹ She died on 13 June 1936.¹
     From 15 May 1907, her married name became Astley.¹

     Lt.-Col. J. A. S. Colquhoun gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Major Aston Giffard Astley was born on 5 October 1887.¹ He was the son of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle.¹ He died on 1 October 1916 at age 28, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Devon Regiment.¹

     Mary Ethel Astley was born on 9 August 1878.¹ She was the daughter of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle.¹ She married Richard Glover-Clark on 24 August 1920.¹ She died on 30 October 1957 at age 79.¹
     From 24 August 1920, her married name became Glover-Clark.¹

     Richard Glover-Clark married Mary Ethel Astley, daughter of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle, on 24 August 1920.¹

     Emily Dorothea Grace Astley was the daughter of Major Spencer Byng Astley and Rose Halle.¹ She died on 26 February 1917, unmarried.¹

     Margaret Violet Dorothea Astley was born on 3 March 1875.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Anthony Aylmer Astley and Sarah Amelia Lucy Lane.¹ She married Thomas James Garniss, son of Thomas John Garniss, on 21 April 1897.¹ She died on 30 April 1939 at age 64.¹
     From 21 April 1897, her married name became Garniss.¹
