     Commander Michael Richard Hallam Murray was the son of Alexander Henry Hallam Murray.¹ He married Margaret Olive Charteris, daughter of Colonel Nigel Keppel Charteris and Katherine Margaret Riddell, on 11 January 1930.¹ He died on 15 August 1938.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
