     Alexander Pym was born circa 1547.2 He was the son of Erasmus Pym and Catherine Bampfield.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Conyers, daughter of John Conyers, in 1574/75.2 He married, secondly, Philippa Colles, daughter of Humphrey Colles, in 1580.1 He died on 7 January 1585.2
     He lived at Brymore, Somerset, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taunton in 1584.2

     Philippa Colles was the daughter of Humphrey Colles.2 She married Sir Anthony Rouse, son of Sir Richard Rouse and Elinor Marvyn.2 She married Alexander Pym, son of Erasmus Pym and Catherine Bampfield, in 1580.1 She died in 1620/21.1
     Her married name became Rouse.2 From 1580, her married name became Pym.1
