     Stella Houlton Jackson was the daughter of Richard Houlton Jackson.¹ She married Sir John William Titus Salt, 4th Bt., son of Sir Shirley Harris Salt, 3rd Bt. and Charlotte Jane MacDonnell, on 25 June 1926.¹ She died on 2 August 1974.¹
     From 25 June 1926, her married name became Salt.¹
