     From 1862, her married name became Bolden.¹

     Esme Barbara Littledale was born on 11 January 1895 at Rawalpindi, India.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Herbert Charles Thornton Littledale and Isabella Frances Bowle-Evans.¹ She married Leoline Richard Bagnall-Oakeley, son of Richard Henry Bagnall-Oakeley and Augusta Robina Bolden, in 1925 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She died in 1964 at Southwark, London, England.¹
     From 1925, her married name became Bagnall-Oakeley.¹

     Colonel Herbert Charles Thornton Littledale was born on 6 February 1856 at Gya, India.¹ He was the son of Arthur Littledale and Emily Barnes.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Primrose, daughter of General James Maurice Primrose and Elizabeth Beresford, in June 1885 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Isabella Frances Bowle-Evans, daughter of John Bowle-Evans and Isabella Sofia Harford, in December 1891 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He died on 3 November 1925 at age 69 at Ravenhurst, Pittville, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     He was commissioned in 1874, in the service of the 65th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Egypt Campaign in 1884.¹ He fought in the Tirah Campaign between 1897 and 1898.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Greys.¹ He retired from the military in 1910, with the rank of Colonel, late of the Dragoon Guards.¹

     Isabella Frances Bowle-Evans was born on 10 January 1866.¹ She was the daughter of John Bowle-Evans and Isabella Sofia Harford.¹ She married Colonel Herbert Charles Thornton Littledale, son of Arthur Littledale and Emily Barnes, in December 1891 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She died in 1949.¹
     From December 1891, her married name became Littledale.¹

     Arthur Littledale was born in 1815.¹ He married Emily Barnes.¹ He died in 1888.¹
     He lived at The Hayes, Prestbury, Cheshire, England.¹ He was with the Indian Civil Service.¹
