     William Crawshay Ralston was born in 1840 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He was the son of Gerard Ralston and Isabel Crawshay.¹ He married Henrietta Louisa Crawshay, daughter of Robert Thompson Crawshay and Rose Mary Yeates, on 29 April 1871 at Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He died in 1878 at Kensington, London, England.¹

     Gerard Ralston was born on 19 September 1798.¹ He was the son of Robert Ralston.¹ He married Isabel Crawshay on 18 September 1838 at Pendoylan, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ He died in 1873.¹

     Isabel Crawshay was born in 1820.¹ She married Gerard Ralston, son of Robert Ralston, on 18 September 1838 at Pendoylan, Glamorgan, Wales.¹ She died in 1842.¹
     From 18 September 1838, her married name became Ralston.¹

     Gerard Edgeworth Ralston was born after 1840.¹ He was the son of Gerard Ralston and Isabel Crawshay.¹ He died in 1844 at Edmonton, London, England.¹

     William Robert Crawshay Ralston was born in 1872 at Hay, Brecknockshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of William Crawshay Ralston and Henrietta Louisa Crawshay.¹ He married Edith Maud Townsend on 12 January 1893 at Kensington, London, England.¹ He and Edith Maud Townsend were divorced in 1899.¹ He died in 1935 at Llanfair Yn Neubwll, Wales.¹
     In 1930 Edith brought a case against William for libel – for a tombstone inscribed Jennie, wife of William. She lost because she could not bring an action against her husband.¹

     Gerard Crawshay Ralston was born in 1873 at Hay, Brecknockshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of William Crawshay Ralston and Henrietta Louisa Crawshay.¹ He died in 1902 at Exeter, Devon, England.¹

     Thomas Crawshay Ralston was born in 1876 at Hay, Brecknockshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of William Crawshay Ralston and Henrietta Louisa Crawshay.¹
