Sir Walter Vavasour, 5th Bt. was the son of Peter Vavasour.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Vavasour, daughter of Peter Vavasour.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Dorothy Langdale, daughter of Marmaduke Langdale, 4th Baron Langdale of Holme and Hon. Elizabeth Widdrington, in April 1741.3 He died on 13 April 1766.1
