(Conservative Liberal) for Huddersfield between 1918 and 1922.1 He was created 1st Baronet Sykes, of Kingsknowes, co. Selkirk [U.K.] on 17 June 1921.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Huddersfield.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold II of Belgium.1
