     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Scottish Horse (Territorial Army.)1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Stewart, of Balgownie, co. Dunbarton [U.K., 1920] in 1988.1
