     Amelius Morland Smith was born on 30 January 1845.¹ He was the son of Major Edward Heathcote Smith and Christina Mackintosh.² He married Louisa Howorth, daughter of Henry Howorth, on 30 May 1877.¹ He died on 27 May 1929 at age 84.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 18th Hussars.¹ He was Assistant Colonial Secretary for New Zealand.¹ He also had two sons, who died unmarried.¹

     Henry Howorth lived at Dunedin, New Zealand.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹

     Louisa Howorth was the daughter of Henry Howorth.² She married Amelius Morland Smith, son of Major Edward Heathcote Smith and Christina Mackintosh, on 30 May 1877.¹ She died on 31 December 1942.¹
     From 30 May 1877, her married name became Smith.

     Christine Mary Louise Smith was born on 22 September 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Amelius Morland Smith and Louisa Howorth.² She married Charles Webb-Bowen on 13 September 1927.¹
     From 13 September 1927, her married name became Webb-Bowen.

     Charles Webb-Bowen married Christine Mary Louise Smith, daughter of Amelius Morland Smith and Louisa Howorth, on 13 September 1927.¹

     Reverend Heathcote Smith was born on 19 December 1847.¹ He was the son of Major Edward Heathcote Smith and Christina Mackintosh.² He married, firstly, Clara Jane Soden, daughter of John Ross Soden, on 1 May 1873.¹ He married, secondly, Louisa Floyd White, daughter of George White, on 17 October 1899.¹ He died in 1914.¹
     He was Rector at Kingweston, Somerset, England.¹ He was Vicar at St. Michael’s, Princetown, Dartmouth, Devon, England.¹

     Clara Jane Soden was the daughter of John Ross Soden.² She married Reverend Heathcote Smith, son of Major Edward Heathcote Smith and Christina Mackintosh, on 1 May 1873.¹ She died in March 1898.¹
     From 1 May 1873, her married name became Smith.

     Mary Anne Darell Gillbee was born in 1841 at St. Issey, Cornwall, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Gillbee and Anne Stephens.¹ She died in 1893, unmarried.¹

     Reverend Darell Stephens was born circa 1771.¹ He married Mary Burnett on 14 July 1802 at Bodmin, Cornwall, England.¹ He died in 1848.¹
     He lived at Parsonage House, Little Petherick, Cornwall, England.¹
