     James Robert Ballentyne was born on 13 December 1813 at Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland.² He was the son of Alexander Ballentyne.² He married Annabella Georgina Monck-Mason, daughter of Captain Thomas Monck-Mason and Mary Grey, in 1854.¹ He died on 16 February 1864 at age 50 at London, England.²
     He was educated at New Academy and College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He wrote the book A Grammar of the Hindustani Language , published 1838.² He wrote the book The Practical Oriental Interpreter , published 1843.² He was a teacher of Hindi and Sanskrit at Scottish Naval and Military Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the principal between 1845 and 1862 at Banaras Sanskrit College, Banaras, India.² He was India Office Librarian.²

     Jessie Georgina Bayly was born on 21 March 1911 at Knightsbridge, London, England.² She was the daughter of Hugh Wansey Bayly and Edith Margaret Fane de Salis.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Masterman Loly, son of Gustave Loly and Sybella Sarah M. Masterman, in 1934 at Marylebone, London, England.² She married, secondly, William D. Dunkerley in 1940 at Chelsea, London, England.² She died in 2003 at Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.²
     From 1934, her married name became Loly.² From 1940, her married name became Dunkerley.²

     Margaretha van Merwede was born in 1385.¹ She married Admiral Willem IV van Brederode, son of Reinoud I Heer de Brederode and Jolanda van Gennep, in 1402 at Dordrecht, The Netherlands.¹ She died in 1451, from the plague.¹

     Sir Edward George Jenkinson was born in 1836 at Hastings, Sussex, England.¹ He was the son of Edward Jenkinson.¹ He married Annabella Georgina Monck-Mason, daughter of Captain Thomas Monck-Mason and Mary Grey, on 9 October 1865 at Dargle, County Dublin, Ireland.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He was with the Indian Civil Service in 1856.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹ He was joint magistrate and deputy collector of Benares.¹ He was Assistant Under-Secretary of Police [Ireland] between 1882 and 1885.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1883.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1888.¹

     George M. M. Ballentyne was born circa 1860 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was the son of James Robert Ballentyne and Annabella Georgina Monck-Mason.¹

     Jessie Pattison Henderson was born circa 1871 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ She married George Dingwall Thomson in 1898 at Chelsea, London, England.¹ She died in 1940 at Bath, Somerset, England.¹
