     She was in Women’s Auxiliary Air Force during the Second World War.¹ From 28 September 1953, her married name became Hale. She was managing director of Haleper Nurseries Ltd at Barbados.¹ She lived in 2003 at High View House, Langtree, Torrington, Devon, England.¹

     Henry Ormsby Hale lived at Dryden House, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Henry Francis Ormsby Hale was the son of Henry Ormsby Hale.² He married Jean Rose, daughter of Major Harcourt George Sainte Croix Rose and Florence Norah Deane, on 28 September 1953.¹ He died on 22 February 1984.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Mildred Hoopes was born in 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Samuel Hoopes and Rebecca Violet Minchin.¹

     Robert Fleming was born on 17 March 1845 at Liff Road, Lochee, Dundee, Angus, Scotland.² He was the son of John Fleming and Annie McIntosh.² He married Sarah Kate Hindmarsh, daughter of Marshall Kirkland Hindmarsh and Mary Kirby Baylis, on 14 February 1881.³ He died on 31 July 1933 at age 88 at Black Mount, Bridge of Orchy, Argyllshire, Scotland.²
     He lived at Joyce Grove, Oxfordshire, England^G.⁴ He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1909.³ He lived at Nettlebed, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Samuel Smedley Hoopes was born in 1926.¹ He was the son of Samuel Hoopes and Rebecca Violet Minchin.¹ He died in 2010.¹

     Kathleen Mary Sainte Croix Rose was the daughter of George Alfred Sainte Croix Rose and Beatrice Quain.² She married Gerald Henry Deane, son of Arthur Deane, on 10 July 1907.¹ She and Gerald Henry Deane were divorced in 1930.¹ She died on 15 July 1967.¹
     From 10 July 1907, her married name became Deane. From 1931, her married name became Rose.¹
