     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Black Watch.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He held the office of Battle of El Alamein on 24 October 1942.¹

     Anna Elizabeth Guillemard Rose, 25th of Kilravock was born on 28 May 1924.² She was the daughter of Hugh Rose, 24th of Kilravock and Ruth Antoinette Guillemard.² She died in December 2012 at age 88.³
     At St. Leonard’s School, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, (an unknown value.)¹ She was in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War between 1944 and 1946.² She held the position of Chief of the Clan Rose and Representer of the House of Rose of Kilravock from on 2 November 1946.² She was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated her arms at the Lyons Court on 10 November 1946.² She lived in 2003 at Kilravock Castle, Croy, Inverness-shire, Scotland.²

     Madeleine Katharen Rose was born on 30 January 1927.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh Rose, 24th of Kilravock and Ruth Antoinette Guillemard.² She married Hugh Heriot Baird, son of Douglas Heriot Baird, on 19 May 1945.¹
     From 19 May 1945, her married name became Baird.

     Douglas Heriot Baird lived at Halidon, Esher, Surrey, England.¹

     Hugh Heriot Baird is the son of Douglas Heriot Baird.² He married Madeleine Katharen Rose, daughter of Hugh Rose, 24th of Kilravock and Ruth Antoinette Guillemard, on 19 May 1945.¹

     Sir David Lancaster Rose, 4th Bt. was born on 17 February 1934.¹ He was the son of Ronald Paul Lancaster Rose and Shelagh Grant Lindsay Curtis.² He married Dorothy Whitehead, daughter of Albert Edward Whitehead, in 1965.¹ He died in 2020.³
     In 1982 succeeded second cousin.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Rose, of Rayners, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1874] in 1982.² He lived in 2003 at 20 Kingston Close, Seaford, Sussex, England.¹

     Dorothy Whitehead is the daughter of Albert Edward Whitehead.² She married Sir David Lancaster Rose, 4th Bt., son of Ronald Paul Lancaster Rose and Shelagh Grant Lindsay Curtis, in 1965.¹
     From 1965, her married name became Rose.
