     Jane Cunninghame Handyside was the daughter of Peter Handyside.² She married Shute Barrington Piers, son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram, on 5 June 1863.¹ She died in April 1925.¹
     From 5 June 1863, her married name became Piers.¹

     Shute Barrington Piers was born on 10 April 1864.¹ He was the son of Shute Barrington Piers and Jane Cunninghame Handyside.² He married Gertrude Henry, daughter of Charles Henry, in 1888.¹ He died in 1947.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)¹

     Charles Henry lived at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.¹

     Gertrude Henry was the daughter of Charles Henry.² She married Shute Barrington Piers, son of Shute Barrington Piers and Jane Cunninghame Handyside, in 1888.¹ She died in 1938.¹
