     Sir William Roger Clotworthy Moore, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 May 1927.¹ He was the son of Sir William Samson Moore, 2nd Bt. and Ethel Cockburn Gordon Wheeler.² He married Gillian Brown, daughter of John Brown, on 7 May 1954.¹ He died on 19 May 2019 at age 92.³
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant between 1945 and 1950 in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major between 1951 and 1963 in the Northern Ireland Horse.¹ In 1963 BBC broadcaster.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1963.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1964.¹ He was chairman of the Board of Visitors Prison, Northern Ireland in 1971.¹ He was director of Ulsterlimestone Corporation Ltd, Premier Limestone Ltd and Agriheath Ltd.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Moore, of Moore Lodge, co. Antrim [U.K., 1932] on 27 July 1978.² He was chairman of the Parole Board Scotland in 1981.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Antrim in 1990.¹ He lived in 2003 at Moore Lodge, Ballymoney, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1974 in the Royal Scots.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Moore, of Moore Lodge, co. Antrim [U.K., 1932] on 19 May 2019.
