     Mary Emilia MacLeod was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Norman MacLeod, 23rd of MacLeod and Mary Mackenzie of Suddie.3 She married Captain William Norman Ramsay, son of Captain David Ramsay, on 4 June 1808.1,2 She died in 1809.1
     From 4 June 1808, her married name became Ramsay.

     Captain William Norman Ramsay was born in 1782.2 He was the son of Captain David Ramsay.2 He married Mary Emilia MacLeod, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Norman MacLeod, 23rd of MacLeod and Mary Mackenzie of Suddie, on 4 June 1808.1,2 He died on 18 June 1815 at Waterloo, Belgium.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.3
