Zoë Leighton Seager was born on 28 April 1928.1 She was the daughter of George Leighton Seager, 1st Baron Leighton of Saint Mellons and Marjorie Gimson.2 She married, firstly, Malcolm James Peniston, son of John Ernest Peniston, on 31 March 1955.1 She married, secondly, Alan Carnegie Stewart, son of Gilbert Carnegie Stewart and Lilian Heppell, in 1984.1 She died on 10 August 2019 at age 91.3
