     Elizabeth Wastell was the daughter of Leonard Wastell.² She married Sir John Legard, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Legard, 1st Bt. and Frances Widdrington, in 1682.¹ She died in 1695.¹
     From 1682, her married name became Legard.

     Sir John Legard, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir John Legard, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Cayley.² He died on 14 April 1719, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 5 May 1715.¹

     Sir Thomas Legard, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir John Legard, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Cayley.² He married Frances Digby in 1726.¹ He died in May 1735.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 14 April 1719.¹

     Frances Digby married Sir Thomas Legard, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Legard, 2nd Bt. and Dorothy Cayley, in 1726.¹ She died circa 1 May 1736.¹ She was buried on 4 May 1736.¹
     From 1726, her married name became Legard.

     Jane Legard is the daughter of Sir Thomas Legard, 4th Bt. and Frances Digby.² She married John Grimston, son of Thomas Grimston and Jane Close, on 12 March 1753.²
     From 12 March 1753, her married name became Grimston.

     Jane Cartwright was the daughter of George Cartwright.¹ She married Sir Digby Legard, 5th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Legard, 4th Bt. and Frances Digby, in August 1755.¹ She died on 15 September 1811.¹
     From August 1755, her married name became Legard.

     Sir John Legard, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir Digby Legard, 5th Bt. and Jane Cartwright.² He married Jane Aston, daughter of Henry Aston, on 22 June 1782.¹ He died on 16 July 1807, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 4 February 1773.¹

     Henry Aston lived at Aston, Cheshire, England.¹

     Jane Aston was the daughter of Henry Aston.² She married Sir John Legard, 6th Bt., son of Sir Digby Legard, 5th Bt. and Jane Cartwright, on 22 June 1782.¹ She died on 19 December 1833.¹
     From 22 June 1782, her married name became Legard.

     Sir Thomas Legard, 7th Bt. was baptised on 5 December 1762.² He was the son of Sir Digby Legard, 5th Bt. and Jane Cartwright.² He married Sarah Bishop on 26 December 1802.² He died on 5 July 1830 at age 67.²
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.² He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Legard, of Ganton, co. York [E., 1660] on 16 July 1807.²
