     Sir James Kinloch of Gilmerton, 4th Bt. was baptised on 8 August 1705.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Rochead.2 He died on 25 March 1778 at age 72, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Kinloch, of Gilmerton [N.S., 1686] on 2 March 1747.1

Alexander Rochead of Inverleith1

     Alexander Rochead of Inverleith was the son of Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Rochead.2 He married Janet Watson, daughter of John Watson of Muirhouse, on 4 April 1750.1 He died on 11 May 1755.1
     He was given the name of Alexander Kinloch at birth.1 His name was legally changed to Alexander Rochead of Inverleith on inheriting the estates of his maternal grandfather, James Rochead.1

     Janet Watson was the daughter of John Watson of Muirhouse.2 She married Alexander Rochead of Inverleith, son of Sir Francis Kinloch of Gilmerton, 3rd Bt. and Mary Rochead, on 4 April 1750.1 She died in 1813.1
     From 4 April 1750, her married name became Rochead.

     James Kinloch was born in 1809.1 He was the son of James Kinloch and Susan Wood.2 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Dankelman, daughter of Baron unknown Dankelman, in 1830.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Catherine Patterson, daughter of Captain William Patterson, on 31 January 1837.1 He died on 3 March 1840.1

     Charles Frederick James Everard William George Kinloch was born on 25 January 1831.1 He was the son of James Kinloch and Mary Anne Dankelman.2 He married Mathilde de Salviati, daughter of Peter Heinrich de Salviati, on 21 May 1852.1 He died on 19 January 1864 at age 32.1
