     George Tuchet, 9th Baron Audley (of Heleigh) was the son of John Tuchet, 8th Baron Audley (of Heleigh) and Mary Griffin.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Tuke, daughter of Sir Brian Tuke and Grizel Boughton, before 30 August 1538.2,3 He married, secondly, Joan Platt on 23 January 1559/60 at Oratory, Chester, Cheshire, EnglandG.2 He died circa June 1560.1 He was buried on 3 July 1560 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2
     He succeeded as the 9th Baron Audley, of Heleigh [E., 1313] in 1557/58.2
