     He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1984.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1985.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire in 1990.2

     John Wright was born on 5 April 1723.1 He was the son of Ichabod Wright and Elizabeth Wildbore.1,2 He married Ann Sherbrooke, daughter of John Sherbrooke and Mary Sherwin, on 5 January 1748 at St. Peter’s, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.3 He died on 17 December 1789 at age 66.1
