     Benjamin Greer was born circa 1746.¹ He was the son of John Greer and Ruth Sheppard.² He married Elizabeth Bell, daughter of Merick Bell, in 1775.¹ He died on 24 May 1816.¹

     Elizabeth Greer was born circa 1779.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Greer and Elizabeth Bell.² She married David Greer on 5 July 1813.¹ She died on 13 July 1863.¹
