     Archibald Reid Swiney Pollock was born on 12 June 1829.¹ He was the son of Field Marshal Sir George Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Webb Barclay.² He married Janet Justina Davidson, daughter of John Davidson, on 2 October 1852.¹ He died on 3 October 1877 at age 48.¹
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.¹

     Janet Justina Davidson was the daughter of John Davidson.² She married Archibald Reid Swiney Pollock, son of Field Marshal Sir George Pollock, 1st Bt. and Frances Webb Barclay, on 2 October 1852.¹ She died on 27 June 1919.¹
     From 2 October 1852, her married name became Pollock.

     Lt.-Col. Frederick George Pollock was born on 19 January 1855.¹ He was the son of Archibald Reid Swiney Pollock and Janet Justina Davidson.² He married Jane Obbard, daughter of General Harry Smith Obbard, on 1 August 1882.¹ He died on 18 September 1914 at age 59.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Staff Corps.¹

     Lt.-Col. Harry Clement Pollock was born on 5 October 1883.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Frederick George Pollock and Jane Obbard.² He married, firstly, Dorothy Beatrice Piggott, daughter of Hon. Sir Theodore Caro Piggott, on 17 October 1914.¹ He and Dorothy Beatrice Piggott were divorced in 1928.¹ He married, secondly, Constance Ferne Russell, daughter of Alfred Russell, on 2 October 1929.¹ He married, thirdly, Winifred Eileen Macgregor, daughter of W. T. C. Macgregor, in 1944.¹ He died in 1971 at Hertford, Hertfordshire, England.^1,3
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.¹

     Hon. Sir Theodore Caro Piggott held the office of Puisne Judge [North-West province, India].¹

     Dorothy Beatrice Piggott is the daughter of Hon. Sir Theodore Caro Piggott.² She married Lt.-Col. Harry Clement Pollock, son of Lt.-Col. Frederick George Pollock and Jane Obbard, on 17 October 1914.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Harry Clement Pollock were divorced in 1928.¹
     From 17 October 1914, her married name became Pollock.

     George Frederick Pollock was born on 27 August 1915.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Harry Clement Pollock and Dorothy Beatrice Piggott.² He died on 21 September 1915.¹

     John Basil Pollock was born on 19 April 1920.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Harry Clement Pollock and Dorothy Beatrice Piggott.² He married Betty Angela Lusher, daughter of H. A. Lusher, on 12 April 1949.¹ He died on 29 January 2008 at age 87.³
     He was registered as a Associate, Royal School of Mines (A.R.S.M.) (metallurgy) in 1942.¹ He graduated from London University, London, England, in 1942 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Eng (metallurgy.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 224A Connaught Road, Brookwood, Surrey, England^G.¹
