     Alexander Balfour was born on 30 November 1765.¹ He was the son of James Balfour of Kilmany and Margaret Balfour.² He married, firstly, Anne Balfour on 24 June 1794.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Alison on 2 June 1818.¹ He married, thirdly, Margaret Stewart on 16 October 1826.¹ He died on 8 November 1855 at age 89.¹
     He held the office of Provost of Dundee between 1826 and 1828.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Angus.¹ He lived at Airlie Lodge, Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Anne Balfour married Alexander Balfour, son of James Balfour of Kilmany and Margaret Balfour, on 24 June 1794.¹ She died on 4 December 1796.¹
     From 24 June 1794, her married name became Balfour.

     Henry Balfour was the son of Alexander Balfour and Anne Balfour.² He married Agnes Bisset, daughter of Robert Bisset, on 24 November 1823.¹ He died on 6 July 1854.¹
     He lived at Leven Bank, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Balfour was baptised on 21 July 1795.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Balfour and Anne Balfour.² She married William Gourlay in 1817.¹

     William Gourlay married Margaret Balfour, daughter of Alexander Balfour and Anne Balfour, in 1817.¹ He died in 1843.¹
     He was Surgeon with the East India Company Service.¹

     Gerard Hayes married Deanna Sue Egerton-Warburton, daughter of Peter Ridgeway Egerton-Warburton and Vanda Sue Wood, in 2001.¹
     He lived at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.¹

     Robert Bisset lived at Millfield, Leven, Scotland^G.¹

     Agnes Bisset was the daughter of Robert Bisset.² She married Henry Balfour, son of Alexander Balfour and Anne Balfour, on 24 November 1823.¹ She died on 30 March 1881.¹
     From 24 November 1823, her married name became Balfour.

     Ambrose Malachy Hayes was born on 11 March 2005.¹ He is the son of Gerard Hayes and Deanna Sue Egerton-Warburton.¹

     Robert Balfour was born on 9 January 1827.¹ He was the son of Henry Balfour and Agnes Bisset.² He died on 8 January 1863 at age 35.¹
