     Luigi Tommaso di Savoia-Carignano, Comte de Soissons was born on 15 December 1658 at Hotel de Soissons, Paris, France^G.¹ He was the son of Eugenio Maurizio di Savoia-Carignano, Comte de Soissons and Olympe Mancini.¹ He married Uranie de la Cropte de Beauvais on 12 October 1680.¹ He died on 14 August 1702 at age 43.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Landau on 14 August 1702.¹
