Thomas Brash Morison, Lord Morison was born on 21 November 1868.2 He married, firstly, Isabel Elizabeth Hendry, daughter of Andrew Hendry, in 1899.3 He married, secondly, Georgina Morgan Mitchell, daughter of William Mitchell, in 1935.3 He died on 28 July 1945 at age 76.3
He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was a practising Advocate in 1891.2 He was appointed Knight in 1906.2 He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in October 1906.1 He held the office of Solicitor-General [Scotland] between 1913 and 1920.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness-shire between 1917 and 1918.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Inverness between 1918 and 1922.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1920.3 He held the office of Lord Advocate [Scotland] between 1920 and 1922.3 He held the office of Senator of the College of Justice [Scotland] between 1922 and 1937.3 He was styled as Lord Morison [Scottish Law Lord] on 8 March 1922.2
