     Charlotte Buller was baptised on 20 January 1818 at Calcutta, India.² She was the daughter of Sir Anthony Buller and Isabella Jane Lemon.^3,2 She married Henry Champernowne, son of Arthur Champernowne and Louisa Buller, on 24 April 1838.¹ She died on 28 October 1899 at age 81.¹
     From 24 April 1838, her married name became Champernowne.

     Arthur Champernowne was born on 19 March 1839.¹ He was the son of Henry Champernowne and Charlotte Buller.² He married Helen Elizabeth Caroline Melville, daughter of Michael Linning Melville, on 11 October 1870.¹ He died in 1887.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He lived at Dartington Hall, Devon, England^G.¹

     Michael Linning Melville lived at Hartfield Grove, Sussex, England^G.¹ He held the office of Judge in the Mixed British and Foreign Courts of Commission [Sierra Leone], for the suppression of slave trade.² He held the office of Governor of Sierra leone.²

     Helen Elizabeth Caroline Melville was the daughter of Michael Linning Melville.² She married Arthur Champernowne, son of Henry Champernowne and Charlotte Buller, on 11 October 1870.¹ She died on 4 June 1922.¹
     From 11 October 1870, her married name became Champernowne.

     Arthur Melville Champernowne was born on 16 August 1871.¹ He was the son of Arthur Champernowne and Helen Elizabeth Caroline Melville.² He married Helen Iris Walker, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert John Ouchterlony Walker and Ethel Ironside Bax, on 25 September 1907.¹ He died on 6 December 1946 at age 75.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He lived at Dartington Hall, Devon, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Herbert John Ouchterlony Walker was born in 1843 at Switzerland^G.² He married Ethel Ironside Bax in 1878 at Kingsclere, Hampshire, England^G.² He died in 1934 at St. Thomas, Devon, England^G.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived in 1881 at 3 Barrington Villas, Plumstead, Kent, England^G.²

     Helen Iris Walker was born in 1880 at Plumstead, Kent, England^G.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert John Ouchterlony Walker and Ethel Ironside Bax.^3,2 She married Arthur Melville Champernowne, son of Arthur Champernowne and Helen Elizabeth Caroline Melville, on 25 September 1907.¹ She died on 23 October 1950 at Chichester, Sussex, England^G.^1,2
     From 25 September 1907, her married name became Champernowne.

     Arthur Gawen Champernowne was born on 14 July 1909.¹ He was the son of Arthur Melville Champernowne and Helen Iris Walker.² He married Eileen Ann Strachan Sternbridge, daughter of Harold E. H. Sternbridge, on 18 September 1946 at Chelsea, London, England^G.^1,3 He died on 5 February 1947 at age 37 at Uxbridge, London, England^G, without issue.^1,3
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Eileen Ann Strachan Sternbridge was born on 9 April 1904.² She is the daughter of Harold E. H. Sternbridge.³ She married Arthur Gawen Champernowne, son of Arthur Melville Champernowne and Helen Iris Walker, on 18 September 1946 at Chelsea, London, England^G.^1,2
     From 18 September 1946, her married name became Champernowne. She lived in 2003 at 15 Rossetti Gardens Mansions, London, England^G.¹
