     Myrtle Evelyn Hanmer was born in 1899 at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England.² She was the daughter of Sir Wyndham Charles Henry Hanmer, 6th Bt. and Essex Jessie Selby-Lowndes.³ She married Lt.-Col. Arthur Graves Leech, son of Henry Broughton Leech and Annie Louisa Garbois, on 12 October 1940.¹ She died on 11 December 1960 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England, without issue.^1,2
     From 12 October 1940, her married name became Leech. She was an Ambulance Driver during the Second World War.¹ She was with Leamington Borough Police Force between 1942 and 1946.¹

     Henry Broughton Leech was born in 1843 at Moy, County Tyrone, Ireland.² He was the son of Reverend J. Leech.² He married Annie Louisa Garbois, daughter of William Garbois.²
     He lived at Yew Park, Clontarf, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹ He was admitted to Irish Bar in 1871.² He was Registrar of Titles in 1898.² He was Deputy Regius Professor of English Law between 1898 and 1908 at Trinity College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.²

     Lt.-Col. Arthur Graves Leech was born on 17 September 1877 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of Henry Broughton Leech and Annie Louisa Garbois.^3,2 He married Myrtle Evelyn Hanmer, daughter of Sir Wyndham Charles Henry Hanmer, 6th Bt. and Essex Jessie Selby-Lowndes, on 12 October 1940.¹ He died on 17 February 1953 at age 75 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.^1,2
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)¹

     Varvara Elphinstone Welch was born in 1907.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Malcolm Welch and Irene Frances Elphinstone.¹ She died in 1971.¹

     Aileen Mary Rogerson was born in 1896 at St. Oswalds, County Durham, England.² She was the daughter of John Edwin Rogerson and Frances Mary Creagh.^3,2 She married Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt., son of Sir Wyndham Charles Henry Hanmer, 6th Bt. and Essex Jessie Selby-Lowndes, on 25 August 1921.¹ She died on 26 September 1967.¹
     She lived Mount Oswald.¹ Durham.¹ She was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ From 25 August 1921, her married name became Hanmer.

     Joan Essex Hanmer was born on 25 July 1922.¹ He was the son of Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt. and Aileen Mary Rogerson.² He died on 13 September 2001 at age 79.¹

     Evelyn Mary Hanmer was born on 3 February 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Griffin Wyndham Edward Hanmer, 7th Bt. and Aileen Mary Rogerson.² She died on 7 December 1999 at age 73.¹
