     From 1977, her married name became Monckton.

     Catherine Jane Monckton was born in 1990.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh Geoffrey Monckton and Helen Eileen Dassler.²

     Sybil Dorothy Monckton was born on 15 February 1916.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh Claud Monckton and Emily Sophia Ray Gibson.² She married, firstly, P/O Ernest Herbert Canard on 28 December 1940.¹ She married, secondly, Nils Ane Alexander Hilton Gyllenberg on 20 March 1957.¹ She and Nils Ane Alexander Hilton Gyllenberg were divorced in 1962.¹ She married, thirdly, Frederick Alma Gearing in 1966.¹
     From 28 December 1940, her married name became Canard. From 20 March 1957, her married name became Gyllenberg.¹ In 1964 her name was legally changed to Canard by Deed Poll.¹ From 1966, her married name became Gearing.¹ She lived in 2003 at Unit 11/252 Main Road, Regents Landing, Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia^G.¹

     P/O Ernest Herbert Canard married Sybil Dorothy Monckton, daughter of Hugh Claud Monckton and Emily Sophia Ray Gibson, on 28 December 1940.¹ He died on 4 November 1942 at George, South Africa^G, killed in a flying accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Hugh Jason Paul Canard was born on 21 September 1942.¹ He is the son of P/O Ernest Herbert Canard and Sybil Dorothy Monckton.² He married Elizabeth Frances Wildridge, daughter of G. Wildridge, in 1968.¹
     He was educated at Auckland University, Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ He graduated from Canterbury University, Christchurch, New Zealand^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Tata Beach, Takaka, New Zealand^G.¹
