     Her married name became Bowman.¹ She was also known as Grizel.¹

     Helen Durie was born on 2 January 1740.¹ She was the daughter of George Durie of Craigluscar and Elizabeth Thompson.¹

     Agnes Colvile is the daughter of William Colvile of Hillside and Blair.² She married John Durie of Craigluscar, son of James Durie of Netherton and Craigluscar and Christian Durie, on 24 December 1696.¹
     From 24 December 1696, her married name became Durie.

     George Durie of Craigluscar was born on 16 September 1701.¹ He was the son of John Durie of Craigluscar and Agnes Colvile.² He married Elizabeth Thompson in 1735.¹ He died on 27 November 1768 at age 67.¹
     He had two other sons.¹

     James Durie was born on 18 October 1702.¹ He was the son of John Durie of Craigluscar and Agnes Colvile.² He died in 1748.¹
