     Johanna Eileen Vardon was born on 29 March 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Henry George Evelyn Vardon and Cecilia Laura Lenox-Conyngham.²

     She was a passenger on R.M.S. Titanic between Southampton and Cherbourg on 10 April 1912.² From 27 May 1942, her married name became Schefer. She lived in 1976 at 610 Fulton Avenue, Falls Church, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Colonel John Staples Molesworth Lenox-Conyngham was born on 23 November 1861.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir William Fitzwilliam Lenox-Conyngham and Laura Calvert Arbuthnot.^2,1 He married Violet Donaldson, daughter of Henry Beveridge Donaldson, on 17 December 1891.¹ He died on 3 September 1916 at age 54 at France^G, killed in action, without issue.¹
