Henry Tempest was born on 18 October 1795.2 He was the son of Stephen Tempest and Elizabeth Blundell.2 He married Jemima de Trafford, daughter of Sir Thomas Joseph de Trafford, 1st Bt. and Laura Anne Colman, on 6 July 1829.2 He died on 25 March 1860 at age 64.2
