     Lt.-Col. William Nesbitt Burrowes was the son of Colonel Thomas Burrowes and Hon. Frances Beresford.2 He married Susanna Henrietta Bermingham Sewell, daughter of Thomas Bermingham Daly Henry Sewell and Hon. Harriet Beresford, before 1836.1 He died on 11 September 1886.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 17th Lancers.1 He lived at Dangan Castle, County Meath, IrelandG.1

     Susanna Henrietta Bermingham Sewell was the daughter of Thomas Bermingham Daly Henry Sewell and Hon. Harriet Beresford.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. William Nesbitt Burrowes, son of Colonel Thomas Burrowes and Hon. Frances Beresford, before 1836.1 She married, secondly, George Drummond, 14th Earl of Perth, son of Léon Maurice Drummond and Marie Elizabeth Lucie de Longemarre, in 1847.1 She died on 11 September 1886.2
     From before 1836, her married name became Burrowes. After her marriage, Susanna Henrietta Bermingham Sewell was styled as Countess of Melfort in 1847. From 1847, her married name became Drummond.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the 45th Foot.1
