     Sir Richard fitz Maurice, 2nd Knight of Kerry is the son of Sir Maurice Buidhe fitz John, 1st Knight of Kerry.2
     He was a follower of his cousin Maurice, 1st Earl of Desmond.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Knight of Kerry.1 He was appointed Knight between 1330 and 1345.1 He was Keeper of the Peace in Fermoy, County Cork in 1347.1 In 1356 Keeper of the Peace in Fermoy, County Cork.1

     He recevied the manors of Ballycrenan, Rathcourcy and Killowny, Coumnty Cork through his wife.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Knight of Kerry.1

Nicholas fitz Maurice, 5th Knight of Kerry1

     Nicholas fitz Maurice, 5th Knight of Kerry is the son of Sir Maurice fitz Richard, 3rd Knight of Kerry and Margaret de Courcy.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Knight of Kerry.3 He held the office of Bishop of Ardfert circa 1408, by the Avignon Pope Gregory XII.1 On 25 October 1409 he ordered deprived of his bishopric by Pope Alexander V.1 On 26 January 1410/11 he was restored to his bishopric by the anti-Pope John XXIII.1
