     Francis Douglas Maitland-Heriot was born on 26 January 1860.¹ He was the son of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew.² He married Margaret Louisa Maitland, daughter of Lt.-Col. H. D. Maitland, on 17 October 1916.¹ He died on 13 April 1937 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Edinburgh Academy, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. H. D. Maitland gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Margaret Louisa Maitland was the daughter of Lt.-Col. H. D. Maitland.² She married Francis Douglas Maitland-Heriot, son of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew, on 17 October 1916.¹ She died on 23 September 1956.¹
     From 17 October 1916, her married name became Maitland-Heriot.¹

     Gerald Maitland-Heriot was born on 28 October 1868.¹ He was the son of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew.² He died on 2 November 1900 at age 32.¹

     Madeline Maitland-Heriot was born on 9 April 1858 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew.³ She married, firstly, Alexander Cunningham Boothby, son of Colonel Robert Tod Boothby and Madeline Condie, on 19 January 1881.¹ She married, secondly, Alexander Rigaud Wilson-Wood on 5 November 1890.¹ She died on 27 December 1930 at age 72.¹
     From 19 January 1881, her married name became Boothby. From 5 November 1890, her married name became Wilson-Wood.¹

     Alexander Cunningham Boothby was born on 26 February 1857.² He was the son of Colonel Robert Tod Boothby and Madeline Condie.² He married Madeline Maitland-Heriot, daughter of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew, on 19 January 1881.¹ He died on 17 December 1888 at age 31.²
     He was registered as a Civil Engineer (C.E.)³

     Gertrude Margaret Maitland-Heriot was born on 26 July 1861 at Kettle, Fife, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew.³ She married James Home Rigg, son of Patrick Rigg and Margaret Brougham, on 19 January 1881.¹ She died on 22 February 1946 at age 84.¹
     From 19 January 1881, her married name became Rigg.

     D. R. McPherson lived at Kilspindie, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹

     James Home Rigg was the son of Patrick Rigg and Margaret Brougham.^2,1 He married Gertrude Margaret Maitland-Heriot, daughter of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew, on 19 January 1881.¹ He died on 9 January 1927.¹
     He lived at Downfield and Tarvit, Cupar, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Carnegie Maitland-Heriot was born on 20 June 1864 at Kettle, Fife, Scotland^G.² She was the daughter of Frederick Lewis Maitland-Heriot and Martha Agnew.³ She married Sir Alexander Sharp Bethune of Scotscraig, 9th Bt., son of Alexander Bethune of Blebo and Margaret Maxwell, on 8 November 1889.¹ She died on 16 March 1935 at age 70.¹
