     Lady Mary Saville was born in 1700.² She was the daughter of William Saville, 2nd Marquess of Halifax and Lady Mary Finch.¹ She married Sackville Tufton, 7th Earl of Thanet, son of Colonel Sackville Tufton and Elizabeth Wilbraham, on 11 June 1722.¹ She died on 30 July 1751.¹
     From 11 June 1722, her married name became Tufton.¹

     John Tufton, Lord Tufton was born circa 1724.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 7th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Saville.¹ He died on 2 June 1734.¹
     He was styled as Lord Tufton in 1729.

     Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet was born in August 1733.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 7th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Saville.¹ He married Lady Mary Sackville, daughter of Lord John Philip Sackville and Lady Frances Leveson-Gower, on 30 July 1767.¹ He died on 27 March 1786 at age 52.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 4 December 1753.¹

     Sackville Tufton, 9th Earl of Thanet was born on 30 June 1769.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ He married Anne Charlotte de Bojanovitz on 28 February 1811.¹ He died on 24 January 1825 at age 55, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 27 March 1786.¹

     Anne Charlotte de Bojanovitz married Sackville Tufton, 9th Earl of Thanet, son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville, on 28 February 1811.¹ She died on 15 February 1819.¹
     From 28 February 1811, her married name became Tufton.¹

     Charles Tufton, 10th Earl of Thanet was born on 10 September 1770.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ He died on 20 April 1832 at age 61, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Military School, Angers, France^G.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1787 in the 66th (Durham) Regiment of Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1788 in the 7th (Royal Fusiliers) Regiment of Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1793 in the Balfour’s Regiment of Foot.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 24 January 1825.¹

     Hon. John Tufton was born on 22 November 1773.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ He died on 28 May 1799 at age 25, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby between 1796 and 1799.¹

     Henry Tufton, 11th Earl of Thanet was born on 2 January 1775.¹ He was the son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ He died on 12 June 1849 at age 74, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1790 in the 26th (Cameronian) Regiment of Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1793 in the Independent Company of Foot.¹ He was educated at Military School, Angers, France^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Rochester between 1796 and 1802.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Appleby between 1826 and 1832.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of the Isle of Thanet, co. Kent [E., 1628] on 20 April 1832.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant for Kent between 1841 and 1846.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Tufton was born on 2 May 1768.¹ She was the daughter of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ She died on 16 September 1849 at age 81.¹

     Lady Caroline Tufton was born on 8 October 1771.¹ She was the daughter of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet and Lady Mary Sackville.¹ She married Joseph Foster Barham on 26 July 1792.¹ She died on 3 November 1832 at age 61, without issue.¹
     From 26 July 1792, her married name became Barham.¹
